I will be happy to paint for you portraits of people, pets and animals, landscapes, floral & botanical art, abstract works and nudes.

My paintings are traditionally hand painted on 300g+/m2 artist cardboard, canvas paper or canvas.

Each piece is unique and fully customizable to your liking, through a photo, your description or my imagination.

As a gift for almost any occasion or just for yourself - please family, friends or yourself with a beautiful work of art 😊.

Of course, you also have the option to choose a digital JPG file. In this case, you will not receive a physical product, even if it is not a digital painting.

This is especially recommended for very urgent gifts. You do not have to put up with long delivery times or face difficult delivery conditions (like at Christmas or even because of Covid-19).

Print your gift easily, comfortably, quickly and as often as you want at home. If you do not have your own printer, I recommend a copy store near you or the online option.

In addition to these two options, you can also get your painting as a canvas print, framed or unframed poster. Please note that this option is only available if you also purchase the original painting or digital file.

This is a good idea if you want to gift family members with a copy, because an original is unique and unfortunately cannot be shared. (see also my Price Lists)

You can also contact me to have your charcoal portrait printed on products. For inspiration on a wide variety of printable products, browse through my shop links. Of course, your artwork will be printed just for you. Other customers will not be able to see or buy your portrait.

Natürlich haben Sie auch die Möglichkeit, eine digitale JPG-Datei zu wählen. In diesem Fall erhalten Sie kein physisches Produkt, auch wenn es sich um keine digitale Malerei handelt.

Dies empfiehlt sich besonders bei sehr eiligen Geschenken. Sie müssen keine langen Lieferzeiten in Kauf nehmen oder mit schwierigen Lieferbedingungen (wie zu Weihnachten oder auch wegen Covid-19) rechnen.

Drucken Sie Ihr Geschenk einfach, bequem, schnell und so oft Sie wollen zu Hause aus. Falls Sie keinen eigenen Drucker besitzen, empfiehlt sich ein Kopier-Shop in Ihrer Nähe oder auch die online Variante. (keine kommerzielle Nutzung, lesen sie hierzu auch die AGB)

Zusätzlich zu diesen beiden Optionen können Sie Ihr Gemälde auch als Leinwanddruck, gerahmtes oder ungerahmtes Poster erhalten. Bitte beachten Sie, dass diese Option nur zur Verfügung steht, wenn Sie auch die originale Malerei oder digitale Datei kaufen.

Dies ist eine gute Idee, wenn Sie eine Kopie an Familienmitglieder verschenken möchten, da ein Original einzigartig ist und leider nicht geteilt werden kann. (siehe auch meine Preis Listen)

Sie können mich auch kontaktieren, um Ihr Kohle Porträt auf Produkte drucken zu lassen. Inspiration zu den verschiedensten bedruckbaren Produkten finden Sie beim Stöbern durch meine Shop Links. Selbstverständlich wird Ihr Kunstwerk nur für Sie allein gedruckt. Andere Kunden können Ihr Porträt weder sehen noch kaufen.

Acrylic Or Oil?

Acryl Oder Öl?

With oil and acrylic I paint on canvas, canvas paper and artist cardboard.

Compared to oil paintings, I prefer painting with acrylic.

Oil paintings often have to dry for up to a year before a special final varnish can be applied.

If you speed up the process too much with a special painting medium, the paint can crack. If the varnish is applied too soon, the painting can also look splintery.

Even without varnish, oil takes much longer to dry than acrylic. Therefore, I cannot recommend oil paintings for "urgent" works.

Acrylic serves the same purpose and is also more health and environmentally friendly than oil. It can also be mixed with water like watercolor, but has almost the same painting and covering properties as oil paints.

Mit Öl und Acryl male ich auf Leinwand, Leinwandpapier und Künstlerkarton.

Im Vergleich zu Ölbildern bevorzuge ich das Malen mit Acryl.

Ölbilder müssen oft bis zu einem Jahr trocknen, bevor ein spezieller Schlussfirnis aufgetragen werden kann.

Wenn man den Prozess mit einem speziellen Malmittel zu sehr beschleunigt, kann die Farbe reißen. Wenn der Firnis zu früh aufgetragen wird, kann das Bild auch splitterig aussehen.

Auch ohne Firnis braucht Öl viel länger zum Trocknen als Acryl. Daher kann ich Ölgemälde nicht für "dringende" Arbeiten empfehlen.

Acryl erfüllt den gleichen Zweck und ist zudem gesundheits- und umweltfreundlicher als Öl. Es kann auch wie Aquarellfarbe mit Wasser gemischt werden, hat aber fast die gleichen Mal- und Deckeigenschaften wie Ölfarben.

My Way Of Working

Meine Arbeitsweise

When I work with acrylic or oil, I sketch first with charcoal or sepia.

I usually use no more than 5 colors to paint.

Wenn ich mit Acryl oder Öl arbeite, skizziere ich zuerst mit Kohle oder Sepia.

Normalerweise verwende ich nicht mehr als 5 Farben zum Malen.

I lighten mixed colors with white or darken them with a very dark brown or black (depending on whether I want the painting to have a warm or cool tone).

As you can see in this example, I used only blue, green, yellow and umber (brown color) oil paints here.

When the painting is dry, I paint over it with a special varnish for more brilliance and added protection from UV light.

But for this it must be absolutely dry, because otherwise the colors could chip when drying.

Gemischte Farben helle ich mit Weiß auf oder dunkle sie mit einem sehr dunklen Braun oder Schwarz ab (je nachdem, ob das Bild einen warmen oder kühlen Farbton haben soll).

Wie Sie in diesem Beispiel sehen können, habe ich hier nur blaue, grüne, gelbe und umber (braune Farbe) Ölfarben verwendet.

Wenn das Bild trocken ist, übermale ich es mit einem speziellen Firnis für mehr Brillanz und zusätzlichen Schutz vor UV Licht.

Dafür muss es aber absolut trocken sein, weil die Farben sonst beim Trocknen absplittern könnten.

I will make you an individual offer, which you can accept after we have discussed photos, size, format, style, delivery date and all necessary details.

After your deposit of 50% of the total price I will start creating your painting. Please read also Order Process & Delivery.

I usually finish acrylic paintings in 1 - 4 weeks (+ 2-7 days for printing if required). Oil paintings need way longer, from 8 weeks up to one year. This depends on painting style and if a final varnish is required. Certain times of the year (like Christmas), effort and my order situation can also affect the processing time .

Normalerweise fertige ich Acryl Malereien in 1 - 4 Wochen (+ 2-7 Tage für den Druck wenn gewünscht). Für Ölgemälde brauche ich viel länger, von 8 Wochen bis zu einem Jahr. Dies ist abhängig vom Malstil und ob ein Schlussfirnis gewünscht wird. Bestimmte Zeiten des Jahres (wie Weihnachten), Aufwand und meine Auftragslage können die Fertigungszeit ebenfalls beeinflussen.
